The MMS Orientation & Induction Programme for Batch 2025–27 was organized on August 25, 2025 with the objective of familiarizing new students with the institute, faculty, and academic environment. The programme aimed to provide insights into the MMS course structure, campus facilities, and to instill motivation through interaction with senior faculty and the Chief Guest.
The programme began at 9:00 am with the registration of students, followed by a formal welcome, lighting of the lamp, and Saraswati Vandana. The Director, Dr. Iram Shaikh, introduced the institute and addressed the gathering. Faculty members, staff, senior year students, and the newly admitted batch then introduced themselves. The first half of the programme concluded with an inspirational motivational talk by the Chief Guest, Dr. Shyam Iyer, which was well-received by the students and accompanied by an interactive Q&A session.
After a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, the second half of the programme resumed with a library briefing and campus visit led by Prof. Parth Bal, during which students became familiar with the resources and facilities available to them. This was followed by an informative session on the MMS programme and syllabus conducted by the Director. The day concluded with management games and a quiz conducted by Prof. Charmi Chothania and prof. Sonali Prajapati, where prizes were distributed to the winners, adding a lively and interactive end to the programme.
The MMS Orientation & Induction Programme 2025–27 was a memorable and enriching experience for the students. The combination of formal induction, motivational interaction, academic briefing, and engaging activities helped students feel welcomed and motivated to begin their academic journey. The event successfully achieved its objective of easing students into the institute’s academic and cultural environment.
