Overview

The industrial visit to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer provided students with valuable exposure to industrial processes and cultural heritage. Attended by 27 students and 3 staff members, the trip was a blend of learning and exploration, offering insights into manufacturing industries while also allowing participants to experience the rich traditions of Rajasthan.

Key Highlights

The visit included industrial tours to Kansara Bearings and Bhandari Exports, where students gained firsthand knowledge of bearing and furniture manufacturing processes. Additionally, a stop at a leather factory outlet provided an understanding of local craftsmanship and trade. These visits enhanced the students’ awareness of industrial operations and export markets.

Beyond the industrial experience, students explored the historical and cultural richness of Rajasthan. Visits to Jaisalmer Fort, Mehrangarh Fort, and Umaid Bhawan Palace provided deep insights into the region’s architectural grandeur and historical significance. Recreational activities, including a desert safari with camel and jeep rides, as well as a cultural evening featuring Rajasthani folk performances, added an engaging cultural dimension to the trip.

The visit also included leisure and networking opportunities, such as a DJ night, a shopping experience in Jodhpur’s bustling markets, and time for relaxation at well-facilitated accommodations. These activities contributed to team bonding and a well-rounded travel experience.
