National Energy Conservation Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the First Year MMS students of Aruna Manharlal Shah Institute of Management & Research (AMSIMR) under the banner of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Green Club. The event aimed to create awareness about sustainable energy practices and promote innovative thinking among students.
As part of the celebration, students showcased the variety of working models and projects focusing on renewable and alternative sources of energy. The exhibits included a Smart City model using solar panels, windmill-based energy production, energy generation using waste with sustainable infrastructure development, hydro-based electricity generation, and geothermal energy production models. These projects reflected the students’ strong conceptual understanding, creativity, and concern for environmental sustainability.
The event witnessed active participation and enthusiastic engagement from the students, who effectively explained the working and relevance of their models. Administrator Mr. Pankaj Mehta and I/C Director Dr. Iram Shaikh visited the exhibition, appreciated the innovative efforts of the students, and applauded their dedication towards promoting energy conservation and green initiatives.
The celebration successfully reinforced the importance of renewable energy and sustainability, making it an informative and inspiring experience for all participants.
