Our institute celebrated the 76th Republic Day on the 26th of January, 2025, in the college campus. The event began at 8:30 am, and Prof. Parth Bal welcomed the attendees on this auspicious occasion. The flag was hoisted, and the National Anthem was sung by all. Director Dr. Iram Shaikh delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of freedom, equality, and the spirit of togetherness. Ms. Ashwini Gawde, our second-year student, delivered a speech in Marathi, addressing the soldiers and honoring their sacrifices for our freedom and safety. A patriotic song was sung by Prof. Shahid Qureshi along with the first-year students, which was loved and appreciated by everyone. This was followed by a speech from our second-year student, Ms. Ritika Pevekar, who highlighted our contribution towards this day through the preparation of Rangoli depicting “Amar Jawan.” Poems and sayings (Shayari) were recited by Shravani Kadam and Sajid Quadir, both from the first year, respectively. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Parth Bal, after which everyone proceeded to the canteen for refreshments. The event was a resounding success.
