On 26th July, 2023., We observed Kargil Vijay Diwas (Kargil Victory Day), to observe India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War for ousting Pakistani Forces from their occupied positions on the mountain tops of Northern Kargil District in Ladakh in 1999.
It was to give your mind & soul a dose of Patriotism.
The framework of event schedule was as below:
- 1.15 pm – National Anthem
- 1.17 pm – Welcome address – Prof Bharat Vira
- 1.20 pm – Views by Director Madam on Kargil Vijay Diwas;
- 1.25 pm – Speech by
- 1) Tushar Jadhav – Brief History of Kargil War
- 2) Anish Katkar – Importance of Kargil Vijay Diwas
- 1.35 pm – Three Short Videos on patriotism
- 1.45 pm onwards Full Film – Shershah, based on the Heroic deeds of Lt. General Major Vikram Batra.
It was memorable moment for all the students, staff and faculty members
