Vanmahotsav -2023

We had planned the event ‘Vanmahotsav -2023’ in our institute on July 05, 2023 with prior intimation to all the students, faculty and non-teaching. Our students had the desire to organise the event and so brought different saplings of fruits, flowers
and show plants. As decided, all the students, staff, faculty and the director gathered at the porch of the institute at 9.30 a.m. and under the guidance of the faculty coordinator carried out the event. To begin with, the faculty coordinator invited two students viz Nirav Devda and Daivat Chavan to speak on the subject of ‘Vanmahotsav’. Mr. Nirav spoke about how the event started and why it is important. Mr. Daivat spoke on the importance of the subject and how the environment can be
conserved. Then the Director planted a plant and so also faculty and students undertook the planting of saplings in the premises of the institute. All of the twenty two present planted a sapling of fruits namely Mango, Chickoo and Lemon, saplings of flowers such as Rose, Hibiscus, Aster, Zenia, Button flower and Chrysanthmum, and show plants of different colourful Crotons. Besides, we also had plants of Neem and Curry Leaves planted.
It was a great activity and liked by all. Then we had a small refreshment provided to all.
