Further as scheduled, after the two morning sessions, the students got together in the canteen and arranged the ‘Millets Food Items’ on the tables by putting up labels with the names of food items and the students who had brought the items. The food items were well displayed in the canteen, mesmerizing all the viewers and then a brief speech was made by Prof. Francis Lobo, highlighting the health benefits and inclusion of millets in our daily diet, especially when our country produces a number of millets across the country. He thanked everyone for being participative and complying. He also asked everyone to taste every item arranged for them.
Everyone tasted every item and had their sumptuous meal as a family. It was good to see all enjoying the millets. Meenal Kulkarni supported the activity by displaying the food items with names and especially by bringing three varieties of items. It was thus a thorough event and ended on a truly happy note.
