World environment day celebration was held on 05th June 2023 in online mode whereby the purpose was to create awareness , know the importance, duties of individuals towards the environment so that the present and next generations get good quality air and avoid further damage
The events included the following:
- Welcome address – Prof Pankaj Kulkarni
- Introduction of the day’s importance – I/C Director – Dr Iram Tanvir Shaikh
- Small talk on the environment expressed by Prof Francis Lobo, Prof Bharat Vira & Mr. Prathamesh Veiling – Director MIE
- Environment song was played
- Presentation on the relevance of the environment was done by Ms. Neha Jain – 1st year MMS student.
- Online live craft making in view of theme for the day – Mr. Umesh Shere – 2nd year MMS
The event ended with vote of thanks
The participants then took the environment pledge on pledge/mygov.in/life-movement and received the certificates,
